When you use the Sales Zing App as a salesperson or authorized user, we may collect your device’s precise location (foreground only) for core business functionality such as visit verification and geofencing. 3. Location Data

3.1 Type of Location Data Collected

When the App is in use (foreground) and you are logged in as a salesperson or authorized field user, we may collect:

• Precise GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude).
• Timestamp associated with the collected location.
• Geofencing or visit-related events (e.g., check-in/check-out at customer/party locations).

We do not collect location data in the background. Location access is only active while the App is in use (foreground) and you are logged in.

3.2 Purpose of Collecting Location Data

We collect location data strictly for the following purposes:

• To verify that a salesperson is physically present at a customer/party location (geofencing and attendance validation).
• To link sales orders to the correct customer/location in the system.
• To support location-based expense entries and visit records.
• To enhance the accuracy and integrity of sales reporting and field activity tracking.

These location-based functions are essential to how the Sales Zing App is designed to operate for field sales management and related business workflows.

3.3 When Location Data Is Collected

Location data is collected only:

• When you are logged in to the Sales Zing App, and
• While the App is actively in use (foreground) for operations such as creating orders, checking in at customer/party locations, or recording expenses.

Location tracking stops when:

• You close or minimize the App (no background location collection), or
• You log out of your account, or
• You revoke location permissions from your device settings.

3.4 Retention of Location Data

Location data collected through the App is retained for a maximum of 15 days. After this period, the location data is either:

• Securely deleted, or
• Permanently anonymized so that it can no longer be linked back to an individual user.

3.5 Access to Location Data

Access to location data is strictly limited and role-based. Within the respective organization using Sales Zing, location data may be accessed only by:

• Internal administrators,
• Sales managers and supervisors, and
• Company management,

and only for legitimate business purposes such as monitoring field activities, verifying visits, and managing sales operations.

We do not sell or trade location data, and we do not disclose location data to outside third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3.6 Sharing of Location Data with Service Providers

Location data may be processed through our infrastructure and hosting providers (for example, cloud servers, database providers), solely for the purpose of operating the Services. These providers are bound by contractual and technical safeguards to protect your data and are not permitted to use location information for their own purposes.

3.7 Security of Location Data

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect location data, including:

• Encryption in transit (e.g., HTTPS/SSL) where applicable,

• Logging out of the App and not using the location-based features.

Depending on your relationship with the organization that has provided you access to the Sales Zing App, additional rights and controls may be managed by your employer or account administrator.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for purposes including, but not limited to:

• To Provide and Maintain Our Services: Ensuring that our Site and App function correctly, including core features such as order creation, expense entry, geofencing, and reporting.
• To Improve Our Services: Analysing usage data to enhance user experience, optimize performance, and develop new features or modules.
• To Communicate with You: Responding to your inquiries, sending operational notices, service updates, and, where permitted, promotional communications.
• To Process Transactions: Handling billing, payments, invoices, and refunds where applicable.
• To Ensure Security and Fraud Prevention: Protecting against unauthorized access, abuse, or misuse, and addressing security incidents.
• Compliance and Legal Obligations: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes and enforcing our terms and policies.
